Yes. You can opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message we send you. You will need to opt out on a per phone number basis. You can also rejoin by texting us again.
Yes. We use secure systems to protect your information. However, please do not send sensitive information (like your full Social Security Number or full account numbers) over text. Our staff will guide you if additional authentication is needed.
No, there is no fee from us to use the service. However, standard text messaging rates from your wireless carrier may apply.
Texting is available during our normal business hours:
- 8:30 am – 4:00 pm Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday
- 9:30 am – 4:00 pm Wednesday
- Messages sent outside business hours will be answered within one business day
We aim to respond as quickly as possible during business hours and will answer all texts within one business day (if not faster!)
We could be reaching out to you about any number of things via text - the status of your loan, documents that require your signature (but you will have to authenticate to sign), a payment reminder, a notification about your account, etc.
Remember: FedChoice will NEVER ask you for the following information:
- eBanking Username
- eBanking Password
- eBanking Security question answers
- Login Authentication codes (sent via text or email)
