If you’re fed up with fees and feeling like you’re getting nowhere, make the move to a better, full-service financial relationship.
There are several ways to join our credit union:
1. I am a federal employee or contractor. I work for, am paid by, or supervised by someone in the Washington, D.C. metro area, and I work for one of the following agencies or associations:
- United States Internal Revenue Service (IRS)
- United States Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, and Firearms (ATF)
- United States Tax Court
- United States Congress, Joint Committee on Taxation
- United States Consumer Product Safety Commission
- United States Federal Election Commission (FEC)
- Institute of Museum and Library Services
- National Endowment for the Arts
- National Endowment for the Humanities
- United States Treasury Department, Internal Revenue Service Center
- Senior Executives' Association, Inc.
- United States Postal Service (USPS)
2. I have an immediate family* member who is a federal employee or contractor. They work for, are paid by, or supervised by someone in the Washington, D.C. metro area, and they work for one of the aforementioned agencies or associations.
3. I am a FedChoice Federal Credit Union employee, board member, or volunteer.
4. I am an immediate family member of or permanently reside with a FedChoice Federal Credit Union employee, board member, or volunteer.
5. Need another way to join? Members of the FedChoice Charitable Foundation are eligible for membership.~
+Immediate Family: Spouse, child (step/adopted), sibling (step/adopted), parent, grandparent, grandchild; Household member: Persons living in the same residence, maintaining a single economic unit.
~Members of the FedChoice Charitable Foundation are eligible for membership with FedChoice. Select this option and FedChoice will make a contribution covering your membership; or, if you prefer, you can make at least a $5 contribution through fedchoicegives.org to cover the one time membership dues. The FedChoice Charitable Foundation is a champion for the Federal Community and improves lives through financial education and philanthropy.
